The cities of North Richland Hills and Keller have combined resources to kickoff Phase II of the North Tarrant Parkway street improvements. The project, which spans from 750 feet west of Davis Boulevard to Whitley Road, involves widening 3.5 miles of roadway to three lanes in each direction. Portions of the project will incorporate landscaping elements, including trees, shrubbery, benches, trash receptacles, trails, and street lighting.
North Tarrant Parkway is a strategic arterial corridor in the region’s Master Thoroughfare Plan. The corridor serves local neighborhoods as well as a growing number of office, retail, and restaurant facilities. Phase II represents an estimated $20 million investment in the area’s transportation system. |
